The FLIR HDZoom 30 is a high-performance electro-optical (EO) imaging payload engineered for the SkyRanger small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS). Designed to deliver clear, precise visuals from long distances, the HDZoom 30 enables operators to collect real-time, high-resolution imagery for industrial, commercial, and tactical operations—faster, safer, and more cost-effectively than manned alternatives.
Featuring 30x optical zoom and up to 60x enhanced digital zoom, this payload offers unmatched eyes-on-target capability at ranges up to 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). Its large-aperture lens and imaging engine ensure crisp, detailed visuals—ideal for identifying anomalies, monitoring infrastructure, or maintaining situational awareness from a safe standoff distance. Integrated 3-axis stabilization allows the HDZoom 30 to capture steady full HD video and high-resolution stills even in windy or unstable conditions. Optional onboard image processing supports automatic detection and tracking of moving targets, while also allowing operators to lock onto fixed objects for continued surveillance as the aircraft repositions.
Designed for seamless compatibility with the SkyRanger UAS, this payload is ideal for critical infrastructure inspection, disaster response, border patrol, search and rescue, and persistent ISR operations.
