    The FLIR identiFINDER® R225 is a compact, rugged spectroscopic personal radiation detector (SPRD) that delivers fast and accurate radiation identification in high-stakes environments. Building on the proven success of the R200, the R225 features a brighter, full-color display that remains visible even in direct sunlight or when viewed through polarized eyewear—critical for outdoor or tactical operations.

    Engineered with real-world feedback from field personnel, the R225 offers multilingual support, an improved ergonomic holster that allows full screen visibility while holstered, and extended battery life exceeding 30 hours. Designed for first responders, hazmat teams, law enforcement, and border security, this device ensures rapid situational awareness and safe decision-making.

    With built-in Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, and GPS, the identiFINDER R225 enables remote data access and live transmission, ensuring seamless communication with command centers and CBRNe specialists. The unit uses a high-sensitivity CsI detector with SiPM (G/GN) or an optional LaBr(Ce) spectroscopic crystal (LG/LGN), offering high-resolution performance and ANSI N42.48 SPRD compliance.
