    Adaptable Integrated Protection For Vehicle Crews

    The RA315 Integrated Helmet System is adaptable to the requirements of vehicle crews in Main Battle Tanks (MBT) and Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV). It is suspended in a ventilated soft liner that provides bump protection and a comfortable fit when moving over rough terrain.

    The system allows users to attach optional hard helmet shells—in bump or ballistic grades—providing additional impact protection. The headset utilizes dedicated independent Active Noise Reduction (ANR) modules in each earshell to deliver improved noise reduction at lower frequencies.

    The RA315 ensures clear communication with a flexible boom microphone that can be attached to the left or right earcup. It also features optional electronic hear-through to hear local sounds safely, maintaining situational awareness.

    Modular Protection

    The RA315 is a flexible three-part system comprising the headset, a soft liner, and an optional outer shell. Users can add removable bump or ballistic helmets that can be stowed when the vehicle is operated in closed-down mode.

    Noise Attenuation

    The headset combines Passive Noise Reduction (PNR) for high frequencies with ANR for low frequencies. This effectively cancels unwanted engine noise, protecting the user’s hearing in high-noise environments.

    Comfort & Fit

    Contoured earshells, foam ear cushions, and ventilated soft liners ensure a comfortable fit. An optional neckband and spring can be used to optimize the fit, ensuring stability during vehicle maneuvers.
