    The Honeywell AreaRAE Pro is a highly versatile, wireless, transportable area monitor designed to detect toxic and combustible gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), gamma radiation, and meteorological conditions—all in a single rugged unit. Whether deployed for hazmat response, perimeter control at a fire scene, or monitoring threats at large public events, the AreaRAE Pro delivers real-time threat awareness when and where it matters most.

    With over 20 interchangeable sensors, the AreaRAE Pro adapts quickly to mission-specific needs. Its advanced photoionization detector (PID) measures VOCs in parts per billion (ppb) and compensates automatically for temperature and humidity. An optional gamma radiation sensor adds high-sensitivity radiation detection without using a dedicated sensor slot, maximizing flexibility.Atop the device, the RAEMet sensor provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and humidity data. When paired with Honeywell’s real-time monitoring software, all sensor data—including gas, radiation, weather, and GPS coordinates—are visualized on a cloud-accessible, map-based dashboard, supporting faster decisions, inter-agency coordination, and remote team safety.
