    Description

    Smiths Detection ACE-ID

Rapid chemical identification in the palm of your hand.

The ACE-ID by Smiths Detection is a compact, lightweight handheld Raman spectrometer built to quickly identify explosives, narcotics, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), and unknown substances—even in mixtures or through sealed containers.

Designed for military, law enforcement, hazmat, and first responder use, ACE-ID features Orbital Raster Scan (ORS) technology, which diffuses laser energy to safely analyze volatile or sensitive materials without the risk of combustion or detonation. Whether you’re in a lab, on patrol, or responding to a threat in the field, the ACE-ID offers lab-grade results with tactical speed, empowering operators with reliable substance identification in seconds.

    Features

    • Rapidly identifies solids, liquids, gels and powders

    • Proprietary mixture analysis software enables identification of up to two components within sample

    • Integration software kit for remote operation and report generation

    • Compact, robust and lightweight.

    Uses Advanced Raster Scan

ACE-ID utilizes an advanced Orbital Raster Scan (ORS) optical platform to diffuse laser energy, reducing the risk of heating samples and igniting energetic materials. It also provides operation using an off-the-shelf lithium battery.

    Efficient Identifcation

Proprietary mixture analysis software enables identification of up to two components within sample and rapidly identifies solids, liquids, gels and powders

    Durable and Easy to Use

MIL-STD-810G compliant for rugged use in harsh conditions and operation in extreme temperatures (-20C to +50C) and Intuitive software interface guides users through the entire identification process, making it easy-to-use by per-sonnel of different skill levels
