    Description

The Proengin AP4C is a combat-proven chemical detector trusted in over 75 countries for its unmatched ability to identify both known and unknown chemical threats in real-time. Designed around a flame spectrometry platform, the AP4C offers simultaneous detection of an unlimited number of chemical agents—including impure, homemade, degraded, and unconventional substances often missed by traditional library-based detectors.

With no filters, no calibration, and no user settings, the AP4C is optimized for field use in high-stress, high-risk environments. A single ON/OFF button controls the unit, and the entire detection process is fully automatic, dramatically reducing training requirements and user error in mission-critical situations.

Thanks to its unique flame spectrometry technology, the AP4C delivers instantaneous response times and the fastest recovery after exposure to high concentrations of contaminants—making it ideal for dynamic contamination checks and threat assessments in the field. When paired with the S4PE liquid sampler (as part of the UC Kit), the AP4C expands its capabilities to detect persistent agents post-decontamination. Whether testing skin, equipment, water sources, or environmental surfaces, the S4PE allows verification even when vapor detectors fail—especially in cooler climates where chemical agents may not vaporize effectively.
