The DCON Mitt is an innovative solution for physical contaminant removal, designed by M2DCON to enhance safety, effectiveness, and usability in decontamination operations. Engineered from high-performance microfiber paired with a protective barrier laminate, the mitt safeguards the wearer’s gloved hands while offering superior cleaning power.

Constructed from a blend of polyester and polyamide fibers, the microfiber material is split into ultra-fine strands—many times smaller than a human hair—allowing the DCON Mitt to conform to complex surfaces, reach into cracks and crevices, and absorb liquids and particulates more effectively than traditional materials like cotton or paper. Its skin-safe, non-reactive composition makes it suitable for use on human skin, Individual Protective Equipment (IPE), firearms, electronics, optics, and other sensitive gear without risk of abrasion or chemical reactivity.

The barrier laminate backing prevents contaminant transfer to the user’s gloves, making it an ideal solution for both military and emergency response applications where controlled contact and contamination prevention are critical.
