The Standard for Organic Chemical Protection
DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 (formerly Tychem® F) garments are made from a lightweight and durable fabric consisting of a proprietary barrier film laminated to a heavy-duty Tyvek® substrate. This unique combination offers excellent chemical permeation protection against an extensive range of chemicals, including toxic industrial organic chemicals and highly concentrated inorganic chemicals.
Grey in color, Tychem® 6000 is widely used for chemical spill clean-up, emergency response, and military applications. Despite its high level of protection, the fabric remains lightweight and flexible, minimizing heat stress and fatigue for the wearer.
