    Description

    PackBot 525

    FLIR

The FLIR PackBot 525 is the latest evolution in the battle-proven PackBot series, bringing enhanced performance and modular adaptability to a wide range of tactical and emergency response scenarios.

Designed for rapid deployment, the PackBot 525 unfolds in under two minutes and is compact enough to stow in a car trunk. It is equipped with:
    • HD day/night cameras
    • Laser range finder
    • Improved illumination
    • Optional in-situ charging
    • Advanced accessory ports and mount points

PackBot 525 is purpose-built for EOD operations, surveillance and reconnaissance, CBRN detection, and HazMat handling. Its manipulator arm can lift up to 44 lb (20 kg), and the rugged chassis allows for stair climbing and tight maneuvering in confined spaces. Control is streamlined through the uPoint® Multi-Robot Control System, using a touchscreen tablet that provides real-time video, sensor readings, and control across a network of robots. Integrated MPU5 radios operate over the Wave Relay® MANET, allowing seamless coordination between multiple units and operators.
