Overview
The CAG AR500™ is a Level III+ stand alone steel armor plate engineered from High Hardness Armor steel and NIJ 0101.06 certified. It provides protection against high velocity rifle rounds including 7.62mm FMJ (M80), 5.56mm M855, 7.62x39mm, and .308 Winchester. The plate features a polyurea ballistic fragment anti-spall and blast coating (Rhino Extreme™ 11-50) for enhanced protection. Available in multiple cuts (Swimmer, Full, SAPI, Shooter), sizes (5″x7″ to 11″x14″), and exterior cover options (20-80 MIL Rhino or Nylon). Thickness: 0.35″ (9mm). 10-year warranty on ballistic material.
