DuPont Tyvek 500 HP is a lightweight hooded protective coverall with D-Ring sleeves designed for workers wearing full-body harnesses in hazardous environments.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 HP (TY178S HP) is a robust yet lightweight hooded protective coverall designed specifically for workers wearing full-body harnesses in hazardous environments. The innovative patent-pending design features four elasticized D-Ring sleeves (front, back, and both sides) providing easy access to harness attachment points while maintaining a barrier against hazardous particles and low-level liquid aerosol sprays. Key features include a 3-piece hood with elastic face opening, stitched external seams, off-centered zipper entry with pin lock slider and Tyvek® storm flap, elasticated wrists/ankles/waist, and Tyvek® thumb loops. The garment offers an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort through its lightweight, low-linting Tyvek® fabric (silicone non-added). Suitable for painting, cleaning, maintenance, and other working-at-height applications. Meets EN 14325 Type 5-B and 6-B, EN 14126, EN 1073-2 Class 2, and EN 1149-5 antistatic standards. Dynamic fall testing confirms the garment does not impair full-body harness function.
