In mass casualty incidents (MCI), civilians may be exposed to hazardous materials. Many won’t be able to decontaminate themselves, and responders need a fast, portable way to decon people on the ground before they can be moved or treated. The PHDK, part of First Line Technology’s MDK series, gives responders everything needed to perform dry or Hybrid Decon on 250+ people. It is compact, easy to use and designed for real-world emergencies.
The kit holds 500 FiberTect 12″ x 12″ dry decon wipes for bulk removal of contaminants, six 200 mL pouches of Dahlgren Surface Clean soap concentrate for wet decon (mix one pouch with one gallon of water), and a 3-gallon stainless steel DeconKeg sprayer for soap-and-water application. All components are skin safe, the rugged wheeled case can be transported by one person, and the kit has a 10+ year shelf life. Part number FLT-PHDK-DK.
