Calibration for 4-gas meters, single-gas monitors and PID instruments, done by OEM-certified technicians in our own San Antonio-area Repair Depot. Ship your detectors in, drop them off at our Universal City headquarters, or have our technicians calibrate them at your station on a set schedule.
Detectors only protect a crew when they read true. Every calibration we perform is built to give your crew a reading they can trust and a record your safety officer can show.
Your instrument is logged by serial number on arrival, with its warranty status and service history attached, then goes through our documented screening process and a functional check.
Calibration on the manufacturer’s required cycle. Sensors that won’t hold calibration are identified for replacement, at no charge when the instrument is covered by a Honeywell Service Made Simple Enhanced agreement.
A calibration certificate tied to the instrument’s serial number, kept on file for its whole service life. Need a copy for an audit? We can text or email it.
If the instrument needs more than calibration, our technicians repair it in-house. When it falls outside our in-house scope, we coordinate the manufacturer repair and handle the logistics.
Portable single-gas and multi-gas detectors. FarrWest is a Honeywell Authorized Service Provider for BW, so warranty calibration and repair are done at our Texas depot.
Multi-gas monitors and PID instruments for VOC detection, also covered under our Honeywell Authorized Service Provider status. See Honeywell warranty service
We also service radiation and chemical detectors as part of our Service Program.
Best for a few instruments, an overdue calibration or a detector that’s acting up. Open an RMA, then drop the instrument off at our Universal City headquarters (1500 Northlake Pass, Suite 101, Mon–Fri 8–5) or ship it in. It’s typically back in service in 48–72 hours. Best for departments with a fleet of detectors. Our certified technicians come to you every 30 to 180 days, your choice of cycle, to test and calibrate gas, radiation and chemical detectors, replenish consumables and fix minor problems during the visit. If an instrument has to go to the depot, an express loaner covers you when required. One annual PO covers the program. See Service Programs
Go to support.farrwestservice.com. Enter the model or part number, serial number, what you need (calibration, repair or both) and who to contact.
You’ll receive an RMA number and the address to ship to.
Pack each instrument so it survives the trip, and put the RMA paperwork where it’s easy to see when the box is opened.
You get status updates while it’s on the bench. It returns calibrated, with its certificate on file against the serial number.
Depot work typically turns around in 48–72 hours from the time the instrument arrives. On a Service Program, calibration happens at your location during the scheduled visit.
We quote every job, because it depends on the instrument, its sensors and its condition. Request a quote for depot calibration, or ask for a Service Program estimate to cover your whole fleet on one annual PO.
