The high-current Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6292 is a portable, microprocessor-controlled instrument designed for measurements in electrical substations. It features optimized filters and protection for accurate measurement of very low contact resistances of high voltage circuit breakers, switches, and busbars with test currents up to 200A. The instrument uses a state-of-the-art signal amplification system that is offset-free with high long-term stability. An alphanumeric display shows resistance readings with up to 4½-digit resolution. It can measure resistances up to 1Ω with resolution of 0.1µΩ. Includes four-terminal Kelvin-type measurement method, USB 2.0 interface with DataView software, and memory storage for up to 8000 measurements.
