    Description

    Blauer Multi-Threat Suit

    Triple-Certified Level A CBRN Ensemble

The Blauer Multi-Threat Suit is the top-tier Homeland Defender® ensemble for agencies that need Level A–equivalent CBRN performance in hostile environments. Certified to NFPA 1994 Class 1 and Class 2 as well as NFPA 1992, the Multi-Threat Suit is designed for hot-zone missions at or above IDLH when worn with approved SCBA systems, protecting against liquid, vapor, and particulate forms of HAZMAT and CBRN agents.

At the core of the ensemble is GORE® CHEMPAK® Ultra-Barrier fabric, an impermeable membrane engineered to provide outstanding chemical warfare agent and toxic industrial chemical permeation resistance. This barrier is laminated to a 4.5 oz NOMEX® IIIA outer shell, which offers excellent static dissipative performance and resists melting, dripping, and burning when exposed to high heat and flame, providing limited FR protection for tactical and HAZMAT operations.

To address heat stress, the NOMEX® IIIA outer shell is engineered to absorb water without compromising barrier integrity, enabling an “evaporative cooling” effect when the suit is wetted before or during use. A one-piece, form-fitting design with integrated CBRN booties and gloves, a rubber-to-rubber SCBA mask interface, and compatibility with tactical-style boots delivers superior mobility in tight spaces and eliminates the need for chemical tape, making the Multi-Threat Suit ideal for S.W.A.T., clandestine lab entries, hot-zone search and rescue, and advanced HAZMAT response.

Note: The Multi-Threat Suit provides limited FR behavior via its NOMEX® IIIA shell but does not include insulative layers; it will not protect the wearer from sustained high temperatures and must be paired appropriately when thermal hazards are present.

    Features

    • Triple-certified to NFPA 1994 Class 1 & 2 and NFPA 1992 for hot-zone CBRN and liquid splash protection at or above IDLH when worn with approved SCBA.

    • GORE® CHEMPAK® Ultra-Barrier fabric with NOMEX® IIIA outer shell provides impermeable chemical protection with limited FR performance.

    • Evaporative cooling capability when the suit is wetted, helping to manage core temperature during extended missions.

    • Form-fitting, one-piece design with integrated CBRN booties and gloves plus rubber-to-rubber SCBA interface eliminates the need for chemical tape.

    Level A Performance

NFPA 1994 Class 1 certification is recognized as a Level A option, giving responders a modern alternative to traditional fully-encapsulating suits for high-threat CBRN missions.

    Evaporative Cooling

NOMEX® IIIA outer shell absorbs water without compromising the CHEMPAK® barrier, enabling an evaporative cooling effect when the suit is wetted.

    Hot-Zone Ready

Designed for S.W.A.T. entries, clandestine lab operations, HAZMAT, DECON, and hot-zone search and rescue where mobility, durability, and maximum protection are all critical.
