    Rugged Noise Reduction For Military Vehicles

    The RA108 is a headset designed for use in high noise environments. It attenuates higher-frequency ambient noise through Passive Noise Reduction (PNR) and relies on supplementary attenuation from low-profile Active Noise Reduction (ANR) modules for lower frequencies.

    The headset overcomes the challenge of close-fitting helmets thanks to its uniquely sculpted shape. It fits up-and-under PASGT-style helmets for ballistic defense while ensuring excellent hearing protection.

    The RA108 features a rotary control on the earcup that allows ANR and hear-through features to be switched on and off. It draws power from the attached equipment or a single AA battery for the hear-through feature, ensuring flexibility in the field.

    Dual Noise Reduction

    The RA108 provides up to 36 dB of noise attenuation by combining the mass and volume of the headset for passive protection with active electronic cancellation modules to target low-frequency noise.

    Situational Awareness

    Users can enable hear-through to hear local environment sounds at safe levels (<85dBA). This allows for face-to-face conversations and hazard detection without defeating the hearing protection.

    Helmet Compatibility

    Designed to meet the challenge of the US Army PASGT helmet, the RA108’s low-profile, internal ANR modules and sculpted shape ensure it fits comfortably under ballistic helmets across the world.
