The SAB-100 probe for measurement of surface contamination is designed to be used with any CSP survey meter. Its phoswich detector with 100 cm² detection area makes it an ideal tool for direct measurement of alpha and beta emitters. Features include: push-button counting mode selector (alpha only, beta only, alpha+beta), removable protection grid for decontamination, removable entrance window on metallic frame for easy service, and firmware upgrade capability via USB. The probe includes an ergonomic design with new probe angle for hands contamination-free operation. Part of Canberra’s Smart Probe (CSP) family with plug-and-play capabilities. Available with Mylar window (SAB-100) or Mylar window with protective grid (SAB-100R). Connects to CSP compatible survey meters via 1.5, 10, or 20 meter CSP cable.
