Overview
DuPont™ Tychem® 5000 Jacket offers heavy-duty protection against a wide variety of chemical hazards. Features include taped seams for strong chemical resistance, mandarin collar designed to fit tightly around hooded PAPR, elastic wrists, and double storm flap with hook and loop closure. Tan color for discretionary purposes. Extends to hip. Fabric is a multi-layer composite barrier film laminated to durable 2.0 oz/yd2 polypropylene substrate. Suitable for chemical handling, hazmat, law enforcement, and domestic preparedness applications. Manufactured under specifications without natural rubber latex. Meets ASTM F1670 (blood) and ASTM F1671 (viral) penetration standards. Available in sizes SM through 4X with taped seams. 6 per case.
