Overview
The GasAlertMicroClip XL/X3 is a portable personal safety device that detects combustible gases (LEL), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxygen (O2). It features audible and visual alarms, a rechargeable battery, calibration and bump test capabilities, data logging, and configurable alarm setpoints. The device includes an IR interface for wireless configuration and supports multiple languages. It is approved by CSA International for use in hazardous explosive atmospheres.

- Field-selectable combustible gas measurement: percent LEL or percent by volume methane (0-5.0%v/v)
- Automatic zero and O2 calibration on startup (optional)
- Bump test functionality before each day's use
- Data logging with 16 hours storage capacity
- TWA (Time-Weighted Average) and STEL (Short-Term Exposure Limit) calculations for toxic gases
