Water-activated polyurethane foam plug that temporarily stops leaks in pipes, drums, tankers, railcars and boats. Dip, insert and it sets rock hard in minutes. Football and 1.5 in. golf ball sizes.
The Edwards & Cromwell Football and Golf Ball Plugs are polyurethane-impregnated, water-activated foam plugs for temporarily stopping a leak in anything from a pipe or drum to a tanker, railcar or boat hull. The plug starts out pliable so it can be worked into the void, then quickly expands and sets rock hard to fill it. It can even be applied below the water line.
Each plug is ready to use with no mixing: dip it in water for about five seconds, twist it into the hole and press it against the surface to form a mushroom seal. The football size handles larger punctures such as saddle-tank damage at a truck crash; the 1.5-inch golf ball size suits smaller holes. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions, protective gloves and the plug. Made in USA.
