The PZ 17 2 L is a specialized decontamination shelter featuring a lengthwise partition that divides the shelter into 2 independent decontamination lines. These lines provide sufficient space for separate showering of men and women. The shelter is equipped with shower units that divide the interior into undressing, shower, and dressing areas. Each shower unit has a separate water supply, allowing individual control of water amounts and temperature. Color-coded passages (blue for water, red for heating/power, green for compressed air) provide practical orientation during deployment. A continuous catchment basin in the shower area prevents liquid from spreading to other tent areas. The shelter can be connected to the Universal shelter PZ 17 to extend functionality with additional supply or accommodation space.
