The CC28 is a reliable and economical transmitter for monitoring flammable gases and vapors in Ex zones. It uses catalytic combustion (CC) technology to detect combustible gases such as methane, propane, and hydrogen with measurement ranges of 0-100% LEL and 0-4% by volume (NH3). Features include short response times via stack effect, analog 4-20 mA signal transmission, ATEX certification for Ex Zone 1, IP64 protection class, automatic temperature compensation, and linearized measurement signals for high accuracy. The long-life sensors provide economical operation, and smart sensor technology allows easy field replacement. Hardware complies with DIN EN 61508-2:2011 (SIL 2/3). Optional accessories include RC2 remote control, weatherproof housing, and flow-through adapter.
