NFPA 1930:2025-certified firefighting TIC · 640 × 480 · App-enabled
The FLIR K85-N gives firefighters clearer vision and greater confidence in smoke-filled, high-heat environments. Fully certified to NFPA 1930:2025, it combines sharp 640 × 480 resolution, enhanced contrast and a single-range imaging solution that reveals critical scene detail without switching ranges or losing situational awareness.
The K85-N carries NFPA 1930:2025 certification alongside an IP67 rating and a hazardous-location rating. P/N 18703-0301.
Fully certified to NFPA 1930:2025, the K85-N gives departments a future-ready firefighting TIC aligned with the newest standard.FLIR, on the K85-N
The certification sits on a camera engineered for frontline firefighting: rugged IP67-rated construction, 2-meter drop resistance and high-heat performance, with thermal visibility optimized for low-light and smoke-obscured environments. Purpose-built firefighting modes help crews adapt to changing conditions on the fireground.

With 640 × 480 resolution, enhanced contrast and a single-range imaging solution, the K85-N helps firefighters see critical details in smoke and high heat without interruptions, image freeze or loss of awareness, from the first alarm to the last fire out.

A seamless single-range interface keeps the focus on the scene: a simplified live image display and minimal menu interaction.
Digital enhancement with Flexible Scene Enhancement (FSX®).
640 × 480 display with a 60 Hz display frame rate.
Digital zoom supports faster, more effective operation.
Integrated wireless connectivity links the K85-N to the FLIR Responder App, which supports the camera before, during and after the mission. The app is available through the Apple Store and Google Play.
Improved ergonomics and easier cleaning, a sealed IP67 body and a Li-Ion battery with approximately 4 hours of operation in typical use.

Encapsulation IP67 (IEC 60529). Drop: 2 m (6.6 ft) on concrete floor (IEC 60068-2-31). Shock 25 g, vibration 2 g.
Operating range -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), plus 150°C (302°F) for 15 minutes and 260°C (500°F) for 5 minutes.
3.6 V, 6.2 Ah Li-Ion battery: approx. 4 hours at 25°C (77°F) ambient temperature and typical use. Automatic shutdown and sleep mode.
Two batteries and a battery charger come in the box. The charging system is a desktop 2-bay charger, with an optional in-truck charger. Charging time: <3 h to capacity enough for 3 h operation.
