Overview
The SABG-15+ probe is designed for the measurement of surface contamination with good sensitivity to detect alpha, beta and gamma emitters for initial survey applications. Features a Geiger-Mueller detector with 15 cm² and 2.0 mg/cm² end window. Part of the Canberra SMART Probe (CSP) family, compatible with all CSP survey meters. Includes integrated hardware circuitry (high voltage power supply, amplifier, discriminator) with intelligence located in the probe for control and storage of parameters, settings, calibrations, and alarm settings. Supports multiple measurement units: cps, CPM, Bq, Bq/cm², DPM, DPM/100 cm². Compliant with IEC 60325 and ANSI N42.17A. Stores up to 1000 data points. Firmware upgradeable via CSPS software. Connects via 1.5 or 20 meter CSP cable.
