RKI GX-6100 Six-Gas Sample-Draw Monitor with PID & Bluetooth

The GX-6100 is RKI's smallest six-gas sample-draw monitor. It reads the four standard confined-space gases (combustibles, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide) and adds two interchangeable smart-sensor slots that accept photoionization (PID), infrared, MOS ppm-combustible or electrochemical toxic sensors. A separate thermal-conductivity position lets the same unit read combustibles in percent volume. It can run as a dedicated PID meter or as a full six-channel instrument.

Four PID sensors are offered: 10.6 eV in low (ppb) and high (ppm) ranges, a 10.0 eV benzene-specific sensor that uses pre-filter tubes, and an 11.7 eV lamp for compounds with higher ionization potentials. Two PIDs can be installed together. A built-in library of more than 600 VOCs, a 30-gas favorites list and a recent-gas list make it quick to set the correct response factor in the field.

An internal pump pulls samples through up to 100 ft of hose for confined-space pre-entry checks, barhole and leak surveys, and perimeter monitoring at hazmat scenes. The IP67 housing, removable rubber boot, man-down and panic alarms, five alarm LEDs on three sides, and Bluetooth sharing of emergency alerts suit it to hazmat, fire investigation and industrial safety teams.
