The Honeywell AreaRAE Plus is a compact, wireless, transportable area monitor designed to detect toxic and combustible gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and meteorological conditions—all from one powerful, multi-threat detection platform. Built for hazmat teams, fire departments, industrial safety managers, and environmental monitoring professionals, the AreaRAE Plus delivers rapid situational intelligence when lives and safety are on the line. Equipped with interchangeable sensor options, the AreaRAE Plus is fully configurable to match the needs of any deployment. It continuously monitors for multiple hazards at once, including wind speed, wind direction, humidity, and temperature using integrated meteorological sensors. Audible and visual alarms on the unit provide instant, local alerts to help crews respond to evolving threats without delay.

Thanks to its compatibility with Honeywell’s remote monitoring software, the AreaRAE Plus transmits live data—including gas readings, weather conditions, and GPS location—to a secure, cloud-based platform. From any internet-connected device, incident commanders and safety teams can view the status of all deployed monitors in real-time on a map-based interface for coordinated decision-making and faster response.
