M8 paper is the standard field test for liquid chemical warfare agents. Blot a suspect liquid onto a sheet and compare the color against the chart printed inside the booklet: the paper indicates G-series nerve agents, V-series nerve agents and H-series blister agents by distinct colors. It detects liquids only, not vapors. Each booklet holds 25 perforated sheets.
