SPECTRUM TECHNIQUES Alpha/Beta Needle Sources are radioactive isotope sources designed for cloud chamber experiments to visualize charged particle tracks.
In stock
Alpha/Beta Needle Sources are specifically designed for use in cloud chamber experiments to visualize the paths of charged particles. Each needle source introduces ionizing radiation into the chamber, making it possible to observe alpha and beta particle tracks. Available in three isotopes (Pb-210, Po-210, Sr-90) at fixed activity of 0.01 µCi (0.37 kBq). Includes cork or rubber stopper for protection during shipping and storage. Activities comply with U.S. NRC Exempt Quantity limits. Maximum activity deviation: ±20%.
