    Early warning handheld chemical detector

    The Environics ChemProX is a new generation handheld chemical detector designed to give teams fast, reliable early warning of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and toxic industrial chemicals (TICs). Its orthogonal detection approach, built around open-loop IMS technology and multiple additional sensors, delivers robust classification with a low false alarm rate in demanding field environments.

    Compact and lightweight, ChemProX is easy to carry on a strap or in-hand during operations, and its unique trend-line display aids in locating unknown chemical sources. Because it uses no consumables for detection, ongoing operating costs and logistics are minimized, making it well-suited for first responders, military units and integrated CBRN teams.

    With integrated wireless networking, GPS, group location features and a built-in simulation training mode, ChemProX supports both real-world operations and realistic training scenarios. An embedded chemical database with operational instructions further guides users through response actions, helping teams maintain situational awareness and confidence in the field.
