Fireline packs, radio chest harnesses and flame-resistant clothing make up the Coaxsher line at FarrWest. Wildland crews can choose the FS-1 Mojave, Spotter or Ranger pack or the 15-pocket Operator Pack, and search and rescue teams have the SR-1 Recon and Endeavor. Harnesses run from the RP-1 Scout to the dual-radio DR-1 Commander, and the clothing includes Tecasafe Plus and Nomex brush shirts and pants, dual compliant pants and FR face and neck shrouds.

Choosing Coaxsher packs, harnesses and fire clothing
Fireline and SAR packs
The three FS-1 packs trade capacity against weight. The FS-1 Mojave is the high-capacity option, with hydration compatibility and a fire shelter system. The FS-1 Spotter is lighter, with a hydration case, fire shelter case and Cordura construction, and the FS-1 Ranger is an ergonomic pack with a hydration sleeve. The Operator Pack is a lightweight, MOLLE-compatible pack with 15 pockets and a customizable harness fit. Search and rescue teams can choose the compact SR-1 Recon or modular SR-1 Endeavor, and hose crews have the Wildland Hose Pack.
Building out a pack
Pack Modules in 700 ci and 1500 ci add storage to FS-1 and SR-1 packs, and the Hip Belt Extension Strap adds 8 in. to their hip belts for waist sizes 39 in. and up. The HydraPak Force 3L Reservoir has an insulated tube, the Water Bottle Case carries a standard 32 oz bottle on an ALICE clip, and the Dual Flagging Tape Dispenser holds one or two rolls hands-free on MOLLE.

Fire clothing and shrouds
Coaxsher shirts and pants are built mostly in Tecasafe Plus, with Nomex options. The BetaX shirt is UL certified to NFPA 1977 and 1975 with Xvent airflow; the CX Vent shirt and CX Wildland Vent Pant focus on heat management. The Vector shirt and pant are the lightweight pair, the Stryker shirt adds a 1/4 zip and mic clip, and the Tyee Dual Compliant Pant doubles as station wear. For face and neck protection from heat and embers, add the CX Wildland Helmet Shroud or Full Face and Neck Shroud.

The Tyee Dual Compliant Fire Pant is certified to NFPA 1977 and 1975 for use as station wear, and the women's-cut Brush Pant and Affinity Brush Shirt are NFPA 1977 garments.
Can I add storage to a Coaxsher FS-1 or SR-1 pack?
Yes. Coaxsher Pack Modules are add-on storage cubes in 700 ci and 1500 ci sizes for FS-1 and SR-1 packs. The Hip Belt Extension Strap adds 8 inches to FS-1 and SR-1 hip belts for waist sizes of 39 inches and larger. MOLLE accessories such as the MOLLE Radio Holster and Dual Flagging Tape Dispenser also attach to MOLLE-compatible packs.
Does Coaxsher make search and rescue packs?
Yes. The SR-1 Recon is a compact search and rescue pack and the SR-1 Endeavor is a modular SAR pack. Both take Coaxsher Pack Modules and the Hip Belt Extension Strap. For a full SAR setup, teams often add a Coaxsher radio chest harness and the HydraPak Force 3L Reservoir, which has an insulated drinking tube.
